Residents from across the Parish gathered at St Mathews Church Hall on Saturday 9th September for the presentation of the Haslington Best Kept Garden Awards.
The judges had the enjoyable challenge earlier this summer of looking at all the amazing front gardens along with the unenviable task of deciding those all-important places. Judging took place across different categories ranging from ‘pots, tubs and baskets’ to ‘large gardens’.
It is clear just how much time and effort is put into making sure that so many gardens across the Parish are looking at their very best.
The Best Kept Garden Awards are organised each year by Cllr Howard Blake, Certificates and trophies to those winning gardens were presented by the Chair of Haslington Parish Council, Cllr Sam Green.
Residents enjoyed complimentary light refreshments after the presentation.
