  1. There is nothing in Haslington for our young people. Both Crewe and Sandbach have good facilities with skate parks, basketball courts etc. I know that £10,000 is not enough to rectify this but £10,000 would go a long way to setting up a decent youth centre with some good facilities for them to use with volunteers from the community. We could perhaps stop all the negative comments about young people on Facebook if they had something to do / someplace to go that isn’t home in their downtime and make them feel part of the community (they are after all the future of the community and without investment in the future the community feel will be lost).

    1. Thank you for your comment. Please complete the form for it to be considered by the Council. Many Thanks.

  2. Hi was wondering if there is a possibility of getting a pump track build in the village for the children of haslington kind regards Dan

  3. Hi, I’ve started building a Wellbeing Garden in the groups of Haslington Primary Academy. So far the garden has purely come from donations and the kindness of others. The purpose of the garden is to provide a positive, safe space for children of Haslington Primary to enjoy for leisure, educational visits, and to support mental health & wellbeing in our school. We hope to allow children to grow their own fruit and vegetables. Plant and nurture seeds and flowers, aswell as learning to constructe their own dens, bug hotels, bird feeders etc. At the same time, helping drive up numbers of wildlife and mini-beasts in the local area. We still have lots of work to do to, and any funding would be an amazing was to catapult this project forward.

  4. I took have a teenager who has little to do in his village. The skate park needs moving to a safer place for the children to access it-maybe the Gutterscroft. We need table tennis, basketball hoops, a MUGA!! Play is not just for little ones!! Give the older young people something to do!!

  5. I would like to change my suggestion to permanent tennis tables as suggested by a Haslington resident on Facebook, I am also in support of a pump track. Anything that creates a community for our 12 to 16 years olds and gives them something positive to do.

  6. Having seen the comments on Haslington Village Community Page I would like to suggest the idea of having outdoor table table equipment as a very good one as an amenity for the sporting types of Haslington Parish. They are a wonderful idea to encourage more activities within the parish and perhaps even get a league up to play against others. I also think having some pieces of exercise equipment around the playpark at Gutterscroft or around the Haslington Easy Access Trail Park may also encourage residents to use the facilities. Excellent idea for quite a few ages. Best wishes to all.
